There is something so amazing about these little tiny bundles that you all bring to my studio. The baby smell is so, so, so good (and believe me....compared to the childhood smells going on in my house with an almost 10 year old and almost 7 year old, I know what bad smells are!) and they are so tiny (again refer to above said BIG kids that are long and lanky that don't really fit in my lap any more, even though I try!) and they fit perfectly into the crook of your arm. They smile as they dream, and only want your love to perfectly cuddle around their body. I wish it lasted longer!!
Newly two, and had some fresh moves to show me at the studio. She had spent some times with a few older nephews who decided that it would be cute to teach her how to Whip/nae nae, and let me tell you, they were right. It was adorable, simply adorable.
She is a hoot and he is a ham, and they are waiting on number 3. I've been photographing them since they were newborns. Its fun to watch them continue to grow and turn into little people with BIG personalities! She wanted to do nothing but climb the tree, he wanted to rummage through my camera bag and found and ran off with a tampon, I had trouble breathing I was laughing so hard (It was highly embarrassing and hilarious all at the same time!)
I can't wait until there is another one of them and I get to try and put all of them in the same frame!
I love this location. Love it. It has a beautiful combination of gardens and nature and is centrally located, and its called the Park of Roses - What's not to love about a park of roses??
I LOVE back to school time. I'm a total office supplies nerd, and I was no different back in school. Getting all of those freshly sharpened pencils, fresh new notebook with my favorite Lisa Frank design, new beautiful pencil box, untouched box of crayons, and that shinny new backpack to carry it all in, I get a little giddy shopping with my kids each year!!
Not only do I get excited about office, or I suppose, school supplies....but I have the same kids come back year after year for my back to school mini sessions, and its so much fun to see how much they have grown, how they have changed, and how they gain more and more confidence about school each year. I hope they come back until they graduate from College.....
Studio session for this group again. Mom needed some updated head shots, and never fail, the girls always raid my baby props while mom's being photographed.....but they always look too cute to not put them in front of the camera! I went to school, eons ago, with mom, who now is bouncing all over the globe with her family, but they spend lots of time during the summer here in the states, and I typically get to see them for a session!
They are full of life, silly, energy bound, balls of giggles, and I love it. They run all over the 4 main acres of the property like they are wild horses. I've never seen two kids run.so.much.
The silliness continued through the entire session. Tickles, giggles, snorts and belly laughs. It was awesome to see them another year.
This kid. Oh this kid. He was hilarious, and he thought I was hilarious also, which is just a major benefit for my job. And the drool. Oh, the drool. He laughed, he drooled, he laughed about the drool, I laughed because he was laughing, and then he drooled some more.... He was a hoot. And this family has the most amazing lashes. All of them, just gorgeous. And the dimple? Give me a break. So cute!!
Sometimes big brothers come along too, and sometimes they are TWO, and sometimes they are really good at being two, so you give them a lollipop to make them agree to sit on the blanket, and sometimes its worth having a lollipop in the photo to get the two of them together!
These two make me laugh. It was fall still, but mom wanted Christmas photos, so we had to hid from the colored foliage, which wasn't the easiest! We had to walk through some brush and the oldest asks.... "Why is outside sooo dirty?" Mom and I had a good laugh, but I think tromping through the brush was well worth it!
Football season is loved by *almost* all here in Ohio, but football season can also be warm or freezing! Thankfully the sun was peeking through and we ran around to keep warm (it is October, so it wasn't THAT cold, but it was chilly!)
